Premiere for the Amarok.
A unique experience and an extraordinary challenge: the Dakar Rally is considered to be the toughest rally in the world. In 2010 the Amarok made its debut as the rally’s official support vehicle. The Volkswagen Motor Sport Team counts on the brand new pickup from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles too, and chose it as their service vehicle. The Amarok passed the endurance test with flying colours – and since then has earned the right to describe itself as “Tested by Dakar”.
